Your gecko will most likely shed every 4 weeks or so. I find this process fascinating! The usual shed process takes place in the evening hours, and is a natural part of the reptile life cycle. Younger geckos may shed more often while growing. The gecko shed begins around the snout where the gecko will lick the dead skin off, then they move to the other sections of the body eating off the dead skin. To ensure a healthy shed proper hydration and humidity is key during this time.
